Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verifies, re-verifies and authorizes patient insurance coverage and eligibility using registration/scheduling systems.
• Verifies and updates patient demographic and insurance information.
• Collects and posts patient co-payments and outstanding balances.
• Handles patient-care related telephone inquiries and staffing queues.
• Notifies providers and patients of scheduling changes and add-ons.
• Schedules and coordinates patient visits and procedures for inpatients and outpatients.
