Job summary

Select Medical in Eureka, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to welcome patients, register them, and guide them through visits at the outpatient physical therapy center.

The role handles scheduling, insurance communications, collections of co-pays, and verification of benefits, with full-time hours Mon/Wed/Fri morning and Tue/Thu longer shifts, offering benefits including PTO, health coverage, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Front Desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Maintain regular communication with insurers, translation services, market leaders, and business development teams.
• Collect co-pays, manage payer approvals, and verify insurance benefits.

Schedule

Mon/Wed/Fri- 7:30am-4:30pm
Tue/Thurs - 9:30am -6:30pm

Compensation: $18/hour- Increases based on experience.
