Job summary

SSM Health Physical Therapy in Eureka, MO is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to manage front-desk operations and patient flow at our outpatient center. You will greet, register, and guide patients, schedule appointments, and serve as a liaison with insurance providers and vendors.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and offers a full-time schedule with opportunities to grow as you handle co-pays, authorizations, and patient communications across the center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year front desk experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check out.
• Schedule patient appointments in person and via phone.
• Regular communication with parties such as insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development team.
• Collect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications.

Mon/Wed/Fri- 7:30am-4:30pm

Tues/Thurs - 9:30am -6:30pm

Compensation

$18/hour- Increases based on experience.

As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center.
