Forefront Dermatology in Pearland, TX is hiring a Patient Service Representative to support patient check-in, verify insurance, and manage multi-line phone calls. You will scan documents into the electronic health record and maintain a tidy reception area, ensuring smooth daily operations.

The role requires a high school diploma and strong customer service skills. The position offers full-time hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm) with benefits including health, dental, vision, PTO, and retirement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions.
• Ability to learn new software quickly.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into electronic health record.
• Maintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments.
• Schedules follow up appointments as needed.
• Responds to designated tasks in the electronic health record.
• Orders clinic office supplies.
• Sells and tracks cosmetic products.
• Distributes mail.
• Prepares for next day scheduled appointments.
