Forefront Dermatology in Woburn, MA is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative to support patient check-in, verify insurance, and manage the front desk in a fast-paced dermatology clinic. You will handle a multi-line phone system, scan documents into the EHR, schedule follow-ups, collect co-pays, and assist with basic office duties while contributing to a patient-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of medical office experience preferred.
• Proficient in basic computer functions and able to learn new software quickly.
• Must have excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to type at least 40 words per minute and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening and closing clinic duties.
• Greets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insurance.
• Scans documents into the electronic health record.
• Maintains waiting area and reception area tidiness.
• Checks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and processes referrals if required.
• Manages clinic supplies and stocks, and handles mail distribution.
• Sell and track cosmetic products and collect co-pays.
