Job summary

UCLA Health in San Luis Obispo is seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Primary & Specialty Care Clinic. You will act as a liaison between patients and physicians, assist patients in accessing services, and help coordinate communication with referring physicians.

In this role you will obtain insurance authorizations and provide follow-up support by telephone and through EPIC/Care Connect, contributing to a collaborative and compassionate health system.

As a Patient Services Representative at our San Luis Obispo Primary & Specialty Care Clinic you willhave the opportunity to provide direct support to the physicians and patients for assigned primary and/or specialty care. Major duties include but are not limited to: acting as a liaison for the patients and physicians in the practice, assisting patients in accessing service within the health system, facilitating communication with referring physicians, referring patients to appropriate resources, obtaining insurance authorizations and providing follow-up through telephone and EPIC/Care Connect.

Pay Range: $29.46 - $38.87 hourly
