Job summary

Center for Vein Restoration is hiring a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, check in/out, and support clinic operations across multiple locations. The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, accurate demographic input in NextGen/EHR, and timely handling of scheduling, referrals, and precertifications.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in administrative or customer service settings, preferably medical, with strong communication skills and reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Reliable transportation to clinics that may not be accessible by public transportation.
• Spanish fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner and check in/out.
• Ensure that CVR policies and procedures are followed by center staff.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and accurate demographics in NextGen/EHR.
• Review schedules, referrals and patient financial responsibilities with each patient.
• Send precertification forms to the Precertification Department daily.
• Close daily tasks: fee tickets, billing, and operative notes.
• Obtain new patient forms and keep records updated in NextGen/EHR.
• Collect copays and patient balances; schedule and confirm appointments.
