Job summary

American Health Imaging West Columbia is seeking a full-time Patient Service Representative to join our West Columbia clinic. The role focuses on scheduling patients, processing authorizations and verifications, check-in/out, and handling multiple phone lines with a patient-service mindset.

The candidate should have 1–4 years in a medical office setting, strong customer service and computer skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and the ability to manage a heavy patient volume.

Lumexa Imaging partner American Health Imaging has an entry-level Patient Service Representative role open in the West Columbia area. We are looking for a customer-service focused candidate that is looking to excel in a medical office setting!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Schedule Patients for Diagnostic Exams and Procedures
• Assist with Authorization and Verifications
• Checking Patients In / Out
• Answering Multiple Phone Lines
• Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office
• Insurance Verification
• Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered into System
• Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records
