Job summary

American Health Imaging is seeking a full-time Registered Ultrasound Technologist for the new West Ashley outpatient imaging center in Charleston, SC. The role involves performing high-quality ultrasound scans and delivering compassionate patient care as the center opens in December 2026.

Ideal candidates will hold ARDMS RVT/AB/OB-GYN certifications (or be willing to obtain within 4 months), be flexible with scheduling, and demonstrate excellent communication, integrity, and a strong work ethic.

Full-Time Registered Ultrasound Technologist at a new outpatient imaging center set to open December 2026

American Health Imaging of West Ashley: 1013 Physicians Dr. Charleston, SC 29414

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM

Lumexa Imaging partner American Health Imaging is looking for a registered Ultrasound Technologist for a full-time position in West Ashley, SC. As a registered Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform high-quality scans while providing excellent customer care and service to patients.

This new American Health Imaging West Ashley center is scheduled to open in December 2026.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography® (ARDMS®) certifications: RVT, AB, and/or OB/GYN or be willing to obtain within 4 months.
• Flexible with patient schedule to accommodate patient needs

Physical Demands of the Position

• Lifting/moving patients, positioning the patients
• Assisting patients on and off table and into a wheelchair, when required
