Job summary

VillageMD's CityMD is hiring a Patient Service Representative to warmly welcome incoming patients, register them and coordinate with the care team to ensure timely service.

You will handle patient questions, verify insurance, and process paperwork with a focus on accuracy, courtesy, and efficiency. A high school diploma or GED is required, and bilingual skills are a plus depending on site.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and welcoming patients
• Coordinating patient intake and appointments
• Enter/update patient information in the system
• Assist patients with paperwork
• Scan and file medical records
• Answer phone calls promptly and politely
• Process insurance information and verify eligibility
• Handle cash and co-pays accurately
• Provide outstanding customer service to patients
• Inform site manager of wait times and inquiries
