Job summary

Family Care Center is seeking a Patient Service Representative at the Golden Clinic to warmly greet patients, manage scheduling, and support the front desk operations. This role supports the care team by handling administrative tasks and ensuring a smooth patient flow in a busy outpatient setting.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least one year of customer service experience, with medical front desk experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• One year of medical front desk receptionist or administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and visitors to the office and directs questions to staff.
• Schedules, reschedules and cancels patient appointments.
• Verifies insurance coverage and determines patient eligibility for services.
• Collects co-pays and other payments and reconciles receipts.
• Maintains patient records and updates the EHR with clinical notes and paperwork.
