Job summary

Patient First is seeking a patient-facing registration associate at our Kentucky centers. You will assist patients at the kiosk, escort to the treatment area, and register and evaluate for care while delivering compassionate service.

The role requires clerical aptitude, strong communication, multitasking ability, and flexibility to work at any center as needed. Benefits include health, dental/vision, retirement, and paid time off, with opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of clerical experience preferred.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 7 hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Excellent visual, verbal, written, and typed communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Willing to work at any center due to staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients using the kiosk prior to registration.
• Escort patients to the treatment area for registration and evaluation.
• Handle physician and nurse requests promptly.
• Explain billing policies and insurable vs. non-insurable charges.
• Register patients accurately while delivering excellent customer service.
• Verify patient demographics, health, pharmacy, and insurance information.
• Answer billing questions and provide itemized statements when requested.
• Collect money and issue receipts for visits, studies, and supplies.
