Qualifications

• Preferred 1+ years of registration and/or insurance verification experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs outpatient scheduling, registration, and insurance verification.
• Conducts comprehensive patient interview data collection (SSN, name, address, contact info, payer data).
• Verifies eligibility and benefits; obtains authorizations/pre-certifications and referrals when applicable.
• Ensures HIPAA compliance and protects patient confidentiality.
• Communicates with insurance companies regarding CPT/ICD codes on authorizations.
• Completes MSP and ABN documentation when necessary; scans documents into the patient record.
