Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent with ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Computer proficient; working knowledge of insurance.
• Good communication and professional interaction with a diverse patient base, bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Regular attendance, including some after-hours and Saturday morning work.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments in EPM per physician guidelines; enter accurate contact data and visit reasons.
• Verify/update patient demographics and insurance; document communications in the chart.
• Answer incoming calls, take messages, and forward to appropriate staff; maintain courteous, professional service.
• Process patient communications, no-shows, cancellations, and portal messages; coordinate with nursing/clinical staff as needed.
• Attend staff meetings, wear ID, follow clinic policies; protect patient data within privacy guidelines.
