Job summary

Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is hiring a Room Service Attendant to support patient meal service and dietary requests. You will work with Dietetic Technicians and Dietitians to ensure accurate menu selections and timely tray delivery.

Role requires reading dietary orders, handling meals to appropriate portions, and delivering meals with strong customer service. This is a full-time, on-site position with varied shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Two years of nutrition services or related experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to read menus and dietary orders and document selections.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and obtain menu selections based on dietary orders.
• Enter patient meal selections and forward to Dietetic Technicians/Dietitians.
• Assemble patient trays and deliver meals with attention to quality and portion control.
• Assist with setting up tray stations and maintaining sanitation standards.
• Provide courteous service and resolve patient or family concerns promptly.
• Follow safety guidelines and food handling regulations.
• Collaborate with nursing and dietary staff to meet patient needs.
