Banner Health in Sun City West, Arizona, Evening shift, is seeking a Room Service Attendant to provide patients with meals and nutrition services. You will receive and forward patient requests to Dietetics staff and assemble patient trays according to dietary orders.

The role emphasizes delivering meals, handling special requests, and maintaining sanitation standards while delivering excellent customer service to patients and families.

Competenze

• Reading, writing and mathematical skills are required.
• 1–2 years of related experience in nutrition services preferred.
• Food handlers’ card required within 30 days of hire for BSS team members (not required in Tucson/Colorado).
• Effective interpersonal communication skills and a friendly customer service attitude.

Mansioni

• Provide patient menu service and record daily meal selections.
• Edit patient menus and request Diet Tech or Dietitian assistance as needed.
• Deliver and serve meals and accommodate special requests and nourishments.
• Maintain food handling and sanitation standards and meet licensing requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service on the phone or in person and resolve complaints.
• Interact with patients, families, and hospital staff to ensure quality service.
• Follow work routines and learn food handling regulations.
