Qualifications

• Requires reading, writing and mathematical skills.
• Food handlers' card required within 30 days of hire.
• Effective interpersonal communication skills and friendly customer service attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients to obtain or discuss menu selections and record preferences.
• Provide patient meal service and assemble trays according to dietary orders.
• Deliver meals and accommodate special requests and nourishments.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and food handling.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve patient inquiries efficiently.
