Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Room Service Call Representative to communicate with patients, family members and staff while entering and processing meal choices into the CBORD Room Service system. You will ensure diet orders and patient preferences are accurately updated and printed tray tickets and reports are produced for distribution.

The role requires strong English communication, customer service experience and basic computer skills, with CBORD familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• One-year previous food service or customer service experience required.
• CBORD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with nurses, staff, patients and families to take meal requests.
• Enter and update meal selections/orders in CBORD accurately.
• Print room service tickets, labels and reports for distribution.
• Ensure tray accuracy, allergy notes and diet orders.
• Collaborate with dietitians, nurses and supervisors to optimize trayline efficiency.
