Job summary

Brown University Health seeks a Room Service Call Representative to enter and process patient meal choices in the CBORD system under supervision. You will verify diet compatibility, update selections, print tray tickets, labels and reports, and support department data entry.

You will communicate with patients, family, nursing staff, unit hosts, and dietitians to coordinate meals, manage allergies and diet restrictions, and ensure accurate tray delivery and kitchen workflow.

Qualifications

• Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Experience in food service or customer service preferred.
• CBORD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update patient meal selections in CBORD accurately.
• Print room service tickets, reports and labels; distribute to staff.
• Communicate diet restrictions and patient requests to dietitians and nursing staff.
• Assist in checking trays for accuracy and presentation.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and support downtime procedures.
