Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Room Service Call Representative to enter and update patient meal choices in the CBORD system, ensuring diet orders are accurate and meals are served correctly. You will print tickets, tallies, and reports and collaborate with dietitians and nursing staff to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• HS graduate or equivalent preferred.
• At least one year previous food service or customer service experience.
• CBORD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively with Nursing, Unit Secretaries, Room Service Hosts, Dietitians, patients and family members regarding meal requests.
• Answers calls within established time standards and retrieves messages.
• Notifies Unit Hosts for patient needs and missing items.
• Enters and updates meal selections/orders/preferences in CBORD accurately.
• Prints Room Service tickets, labels, tickets and reports as required.
• Maintains accurate patient diet orders using CBORD Room Service and LifeChart reports.
