Cook Children’s is seeking a Patient Relations Specialist in Fort Worth, TX to assure regulatory compliance for patient rights, complaints, and grievances across accreditation bodies including TJC, CMS, and TDH.

You will coordinate departmental practices to maintain adherence to state and federal laws, collaborate with the Conflict Resolution Program, and serve as a guardian of patient-centered, timely resolutions within a busy healthcare setting.

Formación

• Minimum bachelor’s degree; master’s preferred in Science, Human Relations, Business, Healthcare Administration and/or Communications or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years healthcare experience required; preferably in patient relations, human resources, compliance, customer service or related field.
• Bilingual language abilities and skills preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements involving patient rights, complaints, and grievances (TJC, CMS, TDH, state and federal law).
• Coordinate department practices to maintain compliance with auditing agencies and laws.
• Partner with the Conflict Resolution Program and coordinate with regulatory agencies as required.
