Job summary

Accendra Health, part of Apria Healthcare, seeks a patient-focused professional to maintain account relationships and ensure patients receive the required home healthcare equipment. This role emphasizes service quality, coordination with physicians and medical groups, and timely follow-ups.

The position requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of related experience, and a valid driver’s license with a geographic territory in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• At least 2 years of related experience required.
• Minimum of three years driving history required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a single point of contact for a specific account.
• Responds to customer needs, concerns and complaints in a timely manner.
• Consults with clients and referral sources on products and necessary equipment.
• Obtains all documentation to be scanned and batched at the Branch.
• Manages follow-up with accounts post set-up.
• Oversees transactions from specific accounts and referrals.
• Obtains documentation for orders in the system, service scheduling and billing.
• Contacts patients to confirm orders and discuss financial obligations.
• Assesses patient needs and promotes products/services during visits.
• Resolves issues by coordinating appropriate solutions with stakeholders.
• Troubleshoots issues with medical groups and on-site departments.
• Assists in the utilization process and transitions related to capitations.
• Coordinates patient services with physicians and medical groups.
• Develops strategic relationships to enhance patient care.
• Participates in quality assurance initiatives as requested.
• Follows up on authorizations to maintain reimbursement.
