Job summary

Children’s of Alabama is seeking an In Patient Registration Therapies support role at the Main Campus in Birmingham. You will perform pre-registration verification, scheduling and follow-up appointments, co-pay collection, and account verification across Behavioral Health services, as well as maintain patient records and coordinate record releases with the COA HIM department.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related care admin experience; EPIC

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in registration/ scheduling/admin tasks is preferred.
• Strong communication and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registration verification and scheduling for CBH services.
• Co-pay collection and account verification/updates.
• Maintain CBH patient records; coordinate releases with COA HIM department.
• Work in a multidisciplinary clinical setting and adapt to different locations/roles.
