Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Spaulding Braintree location is seeking a Patient Service Representative to efficiently register patients and collect demographics, verify insurance, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You will greet patients, enter data accurately, and provide exceptional service to patients and families, while following established procedures. Evening availability is a plus in this onsite role at 300 Granite Street.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is beneficial.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and registration software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
• Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a warm and welcoming environment during the registration process.
• Collect and enter patient demographic information accurately into the registration system.
• Verify patient insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits following procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, family members, and visitors.
• Respond promptly to inquiries and address concerns or complaints professionally.
• Assist patients in completing registration forms and explain the process.
