Under the Site Manager, you will handle forms, verify insurance, enter data in the Practice Management System, and guide patients through the registration process while maintaining accurate records.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and a patient-centered approach to ensure smooth access to care.

Responsabilidades

• Distributes and explains registration forms to help patients complete the process.
• Answers front desk telephone and routes calls appropriately.
• Makes appointments by phone and in person in the Practice Management System.
• Updates patient insurance and demographic information at visits.
• Performs insurance verifications per policy and procedure.
• Collects and files registration forms in the medical chart.
• Assigns chart numbers and prepares medical records.
• Makes copies of documents for the medical chart.
• Enters vital demographic, insurance data and notes in the PMS.
• Determines fee codes based on sliding fee scale and income docs.
• Directs patient payments to cashier for self-pay and co-pays.
• Directs calls to the appropriate clinic area for follow-up.
• Generates the patient identification card.
• Answers questions about clinic services and the registration process.
• Explains payment policies, charges, co-pays, deductibles and hours.
• Directs patients to the correct clinic area for visits.
• Assists in all aspects of the registration process with proper clerical support.
• Follows supervisor's instructions and performs related duties as needed.
