Qualifications

• Education/experience requirements include a high school diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in patient admitting/registration or insurance eligibility preferred.
• EPIC training/experience and insurance payor systems experience preferred.
• ICD-10 terminology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to meet/maintain customer service standards via phone, in person, and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration, preregistration, insurance eligibility verification and cash collections.
• Provide welcoming front-dood service, address inquiries, and advocate for caller needs.
• Act as a courteous first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff.
