Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in patient admitting, registration and/or insurance eligibility and verification preferred.
• EPIC training/experience preferred.
• Insurance payor systems experience preferred.
• ICD-10 terminology experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and MS Office knowledge.
• Ability to meet core customer service standards over phone, in person and in writing.
• Must be willing to instruct others.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient reception, front-desk check-ins and pre-registration.
• Confirm insurance eligibility and collect payments as needed.
• Register new patients and update records accurately.
• Address inquiries with professionalism and compassion to foster trust.
