Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience with insurance referrals or prior authorizations.
• Experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact insurance companies to obtain authorization for plans.
• Educate patients and staff on referral and insurance information.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
• Verify patient registration and insurance information.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Test tracks referrals until fulfilled.
