Option Care Health is the nation’s largest home infusion provider, committed to a seamless onboarding experience for patients and referral partners transitioning to home care. The Specialist, Patient Registration collaborates with Sales to prepare patients for services and facilitates the transition to home/AIS.

This role requires strong multi-tasking, customer service, detail orientation and problem-solving with cross-functional teams across sales and operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Healthcare/medical billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate discharge with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy and nursing to secure nursing and delivery.
• Create, communicate and obtain all required documentation for new referrals.
• Assist patients with upfront payment and direct to financial assistance programs as needed.
• Support ongoing claims follow-up and denial management by coordinating paperwork.
• Assist Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
