Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration in Louisville to facilitate new patient onboarding and coordinate transition to our home infusion services. This role works with Sales to prepare patients for services and ensures a smooth transition to home/AIS, on-site in Louisville from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Able to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales and operations).

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed.
• Supports ongoing activities to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork).
• Assist Patient Registration Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
