Job summary

Option Care Health in Riverside, CA is seeking a Specialist, Patient Registration to streamline new patient onboarding and coordinate transitions to home/AIS. You will work with sales, pharmacy and nursing to prepare referrals and ensure a smooth start of services.

Responsibilities include obtaining documentation, assisting with upfront payments, and supporting denial management and follow-up. A detail-oriented customer-service mindset is essential in this fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience is required.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple referrals and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient’s upfront payment and assists with financial assistance options.
• Supports clean claims on hold and denial management through follow-up on missing paperwork.
• Assists Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
