Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Patient Services Worker in Temple, TX to handle patient meal service, tray delivery, nourishments, and basic nutrition support. You will collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Services and Nursing Services to ensure patient diet orders are followed and patient comfort is maintained.

Responsibilities include coordinating food preferences, maintaining sanitation, inventory, and temperature logs, and assisting with therapeutic diets under supervision.

Qualifications

• Fluent English reading and writing required; bilingual abilities preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and collects patient trays during meal service and provides nourishments or snacks as ordered.
• Ask patients or family for food preferences/dislikes and relay to nutrition staff.
• Communicate all patient food needs to Food and Nutrition Services and Nursing Services.
• Ensure nutrition diet orders are implemented by offering appropriate menu options.
• Maintain sanitation by following cleaning schedules and complete assigned sanitation tasks.
• Inventory and restock pantries, refrigerators, and freezers on the unit as needed.
• Maintain temperature logs for unit refrigeration and freezing equipment.
• Assist in understanding therapeutic diets using established protocols and seek guidance as needed.
• Support clinical staff to meet patients' basic nutrition care needs.
