Aramark is seeking a Patient Services Worker to coordinate patient diet orders, deliver meals and nourishments, and support the Nutrition Services and Nursing teams in hospital and long-term care settings. The role acts as a liaison between patients and clinical staff to ensure proper dietary care.

Responsibilities include gathering preferences, communicating needs, maintaining sanitation standards, stocking units, and documenting temperature logs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Delivers and collects patient trays during meal service. Delivers nourishments and snacks to patients as ordered by physician/dietitian.
• Gathers patient food preferences from patients or family members.
• Communicates all patient food needs to the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Ensures nutrition diet care orders are provided to the patient with appropriate menu selections.
• Maintains sanitation standards by following cleaning schedules and completes sanitation tasks.
• Inventories and restocks pantries, refrigerators, and freezers on assigned units.
• Maintains temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers.
• Understands therapeutic diets using established protocols and seeks guidance when needed.
• Assists clinical staff in meeting patients' basic nutrition care needs.
