Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Patient Services Worker to support hospital and long-term care nutrition services. You will deliver patient meals, collect trays, restock supplies, and help ensure diet orders are followed. The role requires English proficiency and includes sanitation duties and patient interaction.

The position involves coordinating with nursing and food service teams to meet patient nutrition needs and maintain safe, clean environments in clinical settings.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and collects patient trays during meal service.
• Delivers nourishments and/or snacks to patients as ordered by physician/dietitian.
• Visits patients to introduce the services of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Communicates all patient food needs to the appropriate area.
• Ensures nutrition diet care orders are provided to the patient with appropriate menu selections.
• Maintains sanitation standards by following cleaning schedules and completes sanitation tasks as assigned.
• Inventories and restocks pantries, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Maintains temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers.
• Assists in understanding therapeutic diets and seeks help from supervisor or dietitian when needed.
• Assists clinical staff in meeting patients’ basic nutrition needs.
