Job summary

Aramark is hiring for Patient Services Workers to support hospital and long-term care dietary services. You will deliver patient trays, provide nourishments, and assist in communicating dietary needs between patients and the Food and Nutrition Services Department.

You will help ensure diet orders are followed, maintain sanitation and temperature logs, and support clinical staff in meeting patients' nutrition needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Bilingual abilities preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and collects patient trays during meal service.
• Delivers nourishments and snacks to patients as ordered by physician/dietitian.
• Visits patients to introduce the services of the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Communicates all patient food needs to the Food and Nutrition Services Department.
• Ensures that nutrition diet care orders are provided to the patient by offering appropriate menu selections.
• Maintains sanitation standards by following cleaning schedules and completes related tasks.
• Inventories and re-stocks pantries, refrigerators, and freezers on assigned units.
• Maintains temperature logs for unit refrigerators and freezers.
• Assists the clinical staff in ensuring patients' basic nutrition care needs are met.
