Healogics, Inc. is seeking a Patient Navigator for our outpatient wound care center in Somerset, KY. This full-time role supports front office operations, patient communications, scheduling, and coordination with care providers.

A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree is preferred. Two or more years of medical office administration experience helps, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors and routes calls to staff.
• Manages scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information, including pre-certifications and pre-authorizations.
• Collects and enters patient charges and reconciles them as directed.
• Assembles new patient charts and maintains existing charts for data completeness.
• Coordinates/schedules ancillary testing with hospital departments.
• Arranges for patient transportation as needed.
• Maintains office equipment and supplies and medical supplies as directed.
