Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Patient Navigator to manage front office operations at our outpatient wound care center. You will greet patients, schedule visits, verify insurance, and support providers to maintain a smooth care continuum.

The role requires strong organizational skills and 2+ years of office experience, preferably in a medical setting, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This on-site position offers essential patient-focused work with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years office administration experience, preferably in medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Participate in staff meetings to support Center functions.
• Greet patients and visitors; answer and route calls.
• Schedule, reschedule, and send appointment reminders; coordinate with providers.
• Verify patient insurance, pre-certifications, and pre-authorizations.
• Enter and reconcile patient charges in databases; prepare reports.
• Assemble and file patient charts; ensure data completeness.
• Coordinate scheduling of ancillary testing with hospital departments.
• Arrange patient transportation as needed.
• Maintain office equipment and medical supplies.
• Perform other duties as required.
