Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics in Orange Park, FL is hiring a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, educates on testing steps, and coordinates specimens and appointments. The role works with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a compassionate, high-quality patient experience.

You will perform venipuncture, ensure correct specimen handling, and maintain EMR documentation while adhering to HIPAA and clinic protocols.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a front-office or back-office setting.
• Current BLS certification and ability to obtain/maintain licensure as required.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing from start to finish.
• Provide clear, compassionate education about testing procedures and next steps.
• Serve as primary contact to ensure supportive patient experience.
• Perform venipuncture and collect genetic testing specimens.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate EMR documentation.
