HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking an Entry-Level Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) in Deltona, FL. The role focuses on guiding patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, providing education, coordinating care, and performing phlebotomy with a patient-centric approach.

The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, stock options, and a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, evenings, or holidays. Fluently English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a front-office or back-office setting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Provide clear, compassionate education about testing, procedures, and next steps.
• Serve as a primary point of contact to ensure a supportive and informed patient experience.
• Conduct structured patient consultations to promote clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Build strong relationships with partner site staff, providers, and clinical teams.
• Manage patient cases, scheduling, follow-ups, and workflow coordination.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for genetic testing.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
