HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Part-Time Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) in Lake Mary, FL. The role focuses on patient education, care coordination, and phlebotomy support for hereditary cancer testing, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a seamless patient experience.

The ideal candidate is a nationally certified phlebotomist with 2+ years of clinical experience, knowledge of insurance verification, and a valid BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing with education and coordination.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for testing.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate EMR/EHR documentation.
• Support insurance verification and authorizations as needed.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and follow-up.
