Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing and related workflows. The role combines phlebotomy, patient education, and care coordination within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

You will be the primary contact for patients and partner sites, managing scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through the hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Provide education on testing, procedures, and next steps.
• Serve as the primary patient contact to ensure supportive, informed experience.
