Job summary

HALO Diagnostics (HALO Dx) seeks an Entry-level Patient Navigator to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing. The role combines patient education, care coordination, phlebotomy, and clinical support to ensure a compassionate, high-quality patient experience.

You will collaborate with clinicians, partner clinics, and operations teams to coordinate testing, support patients, and maintain efficient workflows. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist.
• Minimal 2 years clinical front/back-office experience.
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic/genetic specimen collection.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation if travel between locations is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing journey with education and care coordination.
• Coordinate with clinicians and partner clinics to support testing and workflows.
• Manage patient cases, scheduling, follow-ups, and communications.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens following protocols.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and data entry in EMR/EHR.
• Assist with insurance verification and prior authorizations as needed.
