Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing and specimen collection. You will educate patients, coordinate care with clinicians, and support partner sites to ensure a seamless experience.

The role requires phlebotomy skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining HIPAA compliance and high patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Experience in insurance verification and prior authorizations is preferred.
• BLS certification is required for clinical duties.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Provide education on testing procedures and next steps with empathy.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for genetic testing.
• Coordinate with clinical teams and partner sites to ensure smooth workflows.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems and ensure HIPAA compliance.
