Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics (HALO Dx) seeks a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer testing in Knoxville, TN. You will educate patients, coordinate care, and perform venipuncture with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

As the primary point of contact, you’ll handle scheduling, specimen collection, follow-ups, and HIPAA-compliant data entry in EMR/EHR systems; stock options are offered as part of a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
• Coordinate scheduling, specimen collection, follow-ups and workflow coordination.
• Serve as primary patient contact to ensure a supportive and informed experience.
