HALO Precision Diagnostics in San Carlos, CA, is seeking a dedicated Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing. You will educate patients, coordinate care, perform phlebotomy, and serve as the primary contact across sites with a compassionate, high-quality experience.

The role requires national phlebotomy certification, 2+ years of clinical experience including insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• 2+ years of clinical experience in front or back office settings.
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing from education to follow-up.
• Coordinate care with clinicians and partner sites for smooth workflows.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for testing.
• Document accurately in EMR/EHR and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Answer patient questions with empathy and clarity, resolving barriers.
