Job summary

HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, including education, scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up. You will serve as the main patient contact and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.

The role involves phlebotomy support, coordination with partner clinics, and maintaining compliant documentation in EMR/EHR systems.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Two years of clinical experience in front or back office settings.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations is preferred.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation if travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing from education to scheduling and sample collection.
• Provide clear, compassionate education on testing procedures and next steps.
• Serve as primary patient contact to ensure a supportive experience and coordinates with partner sites.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens following safety and labeling protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems and ensure HIPAA compliance.
