HALO Precision Diagnostics is seeking a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) in Aurora, CO. This in-person role guides patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, providing education, care coordination, and phlebotomy support within a multidisciplinary team.

The position emphasizes patient experience, HIPAA compliance, and efficient workflows across partner sites. A nationally certified phlebotomist with 2+ years of experience and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
• Current BLS certification and ability to perform phlebotomy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing from start to finish.
• Provide clear, compassionate education on testing procedures and next steps.
• Serve as the primary patient contact to ensure a supportive and informed experience.
• Coordinate scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up with patients and partner sites.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for genetic testing in accordance with protocols.
