HALO Precision Diagnostics (HALO Dx) in Encinitas, CA, seeks a Patient Navigator (Patient Support & Phlebotomy) to guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing, educate on procedures, coordinate care, and collect specimens. This full-time, in-person role supports a multidisciplinary team to deliver a compassionate patient experience.

Ideal candidates are nationally certified phlebotomists with 2+ years of clinical experience, BLS certified, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and

Qualifications

• Nationally certified phlebotomist with venipuncture proficiency.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (front or back office).
• Current BLS certification and phlebotomy experience.
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing process.
• Provide patient education on testing procedures and next steps.
• Serve as primary patient contact to ensure supportive experience.
• Conduct structured patient consultations for clarity and consistency.
• Build relationships with partner site staff and clinics.
• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for testing.
