Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years office administration experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Prior medical coding experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinates with Center leadership to maximize daily patient census.
• Greets patients and visitors; answers and routes calls to staff.
• Manages scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment reminders.
• Obtains and verifies patient insurance information, pre-certifications, and pre-authorizations.
• Enters and reconciles patient charges in databases; transmits data to providers.
• Assembles and maintains patient charts; ensures data completeness and signatures.
• Coordinates/schedules ancillary testing with other hospital departments.
• Arranges for patient transportation as needed.
• Maintains office equipment and supplies; performs other duties as required.
