Job summary

Aramark provides patient-focused dining services, and this Dietary Worker role supports patients by phone and through our software systems. You will liaise with other departments to coordinate meals and nutritional needs, ensuring accuracy and quality of service.

You will record orders, stay current on therapeutic diets, and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and the Food & Nutrition team to deliver precise patient care. Privacy, safety, and sanitation standards are integral to every shift.

Qualifications

• Prior customer service and/or call center experience preferred.
• Experience in food service or dietary roles is preferred.
• Strong English communication skills; bilingual is a plus.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• Comfort with web-based software, keyboard use, and a telephone headset.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and take patient meal orders via software.
• Direct calls to appropriate departments for nutrition-related questions.
• Record patient orders using the designated software.
• Maintain knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses and Nutrition team for accurate patient care.
• Protect patient privacy and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain records and reports to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Support a fast-paced call center environment with monitored calls.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to patients, clients and co-workers.
